# Session transcripts

The session is always saved fully automatically. To ensure that sessions cannot be changed at a later date, users can change the status of the session (see section 6.12). Since participants can also be given access to the sessions regardless of time, it is often unnecessary to save the session separately.

However, the session can also be saved/printed as a PDF. External session documentation in the form of a PDF file is only an additional option.

To save or print a session, open the session. There is a button for PDF export or printing next to the session name in the session header:

If the button is activated, the browser's print dialog appears. This differs depending on the browser.

Google Chrome:

The session can be saved as a PDF using the "Change..." button.

Chrome will ask you for a file name and a storage location. After confirmation, the PDF document is saved in the desired location.

Mozilla Firefox

Firefox uses a PDF printer driver of the operating system. Microsoft Windows 10 provides the "Microsoft Print to PDF" printer for this purpose.

Please also note the advanced setting for scaling. This should remain set to "Fit to page width". If this is set, sessions may not be printed to fit the page.
