# System requirements

To use the platform, all you need is a browser and an Internet connection. Depending on the operating system used, the following browsers are supported.

# Windows systems

Chromium-based browsers are recommended in order to benefit from their powerful audio and video transmission options:

Microsoft Edge (standard browser for Windows 10 and Windows 11, current version "Anaheim" recognisable by the green-blue program icon)
Google Chrome
Other privacy-optimised Chromium browsers such as Brave, Vivaldi, Opera

Sessions/tools can be used, but limited audio and video functionality may occur:

Mozilla Firefox Sessions/tools can be used without audio and video:
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 11
Microsoft Edge Legacy (recognisable by the pure blue programme icon)

# Apple systems with macOS

Please note: macOS version 11.2 or higher is required for new devices with M1 processor due to important bug fixes, e.g. when responding to the camera.

Google Chrome
Apple Safari since version 11 with audio/video transmission.

Sessions/tools can be used, but limited audio and video functionality may occur:
